Held under the auspices of the National Medicos Organization (NMO) – Awadh-Goraksh Prant and Sri Guru Gorakhnath Seva Nyas, this impactful initiative has completed its fifth year of service to marginalized tribal communities along the Indo-Nepal border.
About the Yatra
The Guru Gorakhnath Swasthya Seva Yatra is a large-scale rural health initiative dedicated to delivering healthcare, awareness, and developmental support to remote tribal areas. It particularly focuses on reaching underrepresented groups, such as the Vantangia community, many of whom have only recently been integrated into formal governance systems with access to voting rights and welfare schemes.
The yatra bridges critical service gaps by facilitating medical check-ups, medicine distribution, data collection, and government scheme awareness — all aimed at building a more inclusive and healthier society.

As a technology-first company with a deep sense of social responsibility, SAS ONE was honored to play a small but meaningful role in this initiative. Our team created a documentary film that captured the resilience, challenges, and stories of the tribal communities served during the yatra.
The documentary was screened during the felicitation ceremony and received heartfelt appreciation from the dignitaries and attendees present. The film served not only as a tribute to the spirit of these communities but also as a tool for spreading awareness about the realities they face and the support being extended through this transformative program.
